One more malicious attempt to force users lose their vigilance and make them believe in unreliable information was recently discovered. ZeuS crimeware campaigners use 123greetings.com ecard-themed campaign in attempt to bait users to “enjoy their ecard”.
User usually gets a message with a text:
Subject: "You have received an Greeting eCard"
Message: "Good day. You have received an eCard
To pick up your eCard, choose from any of the following options: Click on the following link (or copy & paste it into your web browser): matt-levine.com /ecard.exe; secondary URL offered: forestarabians.nl /ecard.exe Your card will be aviailable for pick-up beginning for the next 30 days. Please be sure to view your eCard before the days are up! We hope you enjoy you eCard. Thank You!"
It is highly recommended to avoid this message and do not click on any link it contains. You have to be cautious of this attack to avoid serious problems you can get with this at first sight innocent message.
