4 European Banks are Targeted by New ZBOT

Trend Micro threat researchers announced about new Zbot variant, which targeting banking systems in Italy, England, Germany, and France.
TROJ_ZBOT.BYP is a new version of Zbot which was recently detected. Ivan Macalintal, an advanced threats researcher said: “At this point, we do have the data that show that these banks are indeed being currently targeted. We are including some names of the banks here to make people aware.”
ZBOT is a crimeware event which is designed by using a toolkit. The ZeuS toolkit helps criminals to create and control their own malware. That is how infected systems becomes part of ZeuS's botnet. ZBOT specifies at online banking information thefts.
The domain used by TROJ_ZBOT.BYP is hosted on the server which is located in Serbia under the registered name. Trend Micro protects users from this attack through the Smart Protection Network . It blocks user access to all malicious URLs and finds related malware.
