Adobe Reader targeted again: Acrobat vulnerability

Adobe announced today that hackers are exploiting security hole in Adobe Reader and Acrobat. Malicious hackers are trying to use flaw that exists in Adobe Reader X (10.1.1) and its earliest version for Windows and Mac systems. For UNIX systems cybercriminals may exploit Adobe Reader 9.4.6 and earlier 9.x versions. Adobe Acrobat X (10.1.1) and its earlier versions for Windows and Macs.
At issued security bulletin Adobe warns that vulnerability is being exploited in “limited, targeted attacks in the wild against Adobe Reader 9.x on Windows.”
According to Adobe it plans to ship an update for Reader 9.x and Acrobat 9.x on Windows till 12 of December. However, this update will not fix the flaw entirely that is in Reader X or Acrobat X versions for Windows, Mac, or UNIX versions until January.
If you are using Adobe Reader, make sure you have the latest version of it. It is also recommended to have few other alternatives for Adobe at your system.
