Apple Released Safari Update

On Thursday Apple published an update of its Safari browser which patches 16 flaws.
Safari 4.0.5 is available for Mac OS X and Windows. It is created to fix critical code injections and finding bugs. Unprotected Windows boxes running Safari are more exposed than their Mac equivalents by flaws. In other words, surfers who stray onto malicious sites might be exposed to drive-by malware-style attacks. Several critical vulnerabilities in the WebKit engine powering Safari mean that all flavour of the browser need a re-tune.
Apple's advisory states that vulnerable Safari components include ColorSync, ImagelO, WebKit.
