Bredolab Attacks MySpace Users via Email Fraud

A new email fraud is know to attack MySpase users. MX Lab have announced in their blog the detection of a new variant of Bredolab trojan being spread via email. MySpace users receive an email containing the following message:
Hey <recipient's name>,
Because of the measures taken to provide safety to our clients, your password has been changed.
You can find your new password in attached document.
Thanks,
Your MySpace.
The subject of such a message reads “MySpace Password Reset Confirmation!" or "MySpace Password Reset Confirmation! Order NR.4648." with order nr. being any random number. These emails come either from confirmation@myspace.com or security@myspace.com so these are the addreses that should not be trusted.
Should the recipient open the attachment, the Bredolab trojan is being released into the system. This MySpace email fraud is similar to the recent “Facebook Password Reset Confirmation” hoax which also contained Bredolab.
So in order to keep your computer secure you need to be more careful about the email attachments you open and to always keep your system protection tool updated.
