Flash bug removed; Adobe released 7 patches

Adobe patched 7 flaws in Flash Player and the one that Google reported hackers are using in "active targeted attacks". The Flash Player plug-in XSS hole was attacked by hackers and works only against Internet Explorer.According to Adobe security bulletin: "This update resolves a universal cross-site scripting vulnerability that could be used to take actions on a user's behalf on any website or web mail provider, if the user visits a malicious website. Adobe news: Sandboxed Flash Player for Firefox released

This week Adobe launched a beta version of Flash Player for Firefox. This version is better for its sandbox feature. A platform security strategist at Adobe, Peleus Uhley said in a blog: "The design of this sandbox is similar to what Adobe delivered with Adobe Reader X Protected Mode and follows the same Practical Windows Sandboxing approach. Because of PDF's feature to sheer data and intellectual property as a universal medium makes it vulnerable and most targeted by hackers. The main thing attackers do they create malicious files and infect applications by making them to crash and when they succeed they may insert malicious code to run on the system which enables to spread malware and do everything that hackers want. 'Nazileaks' site is hacked by hacker group Anonymous

Anonymous hacker group attacked German's new site, Nazi-leaks.net. They claim having personal information captured from a variety of extreme right wing websites. A Tweet message when trying to log onto Nazi website claimed: "We wish all Nazis a good start to the New Year." This Anonymous operation was called Blitzkreig and was discovered this week, nevertheless, it remained much longer till noticed. Read more.
