Firefox 5.0 is released; 5 exclusive flaws fixed

The new version of Firefox 5.0 was released on 22 June 2011. Note, that Firefox 4 was released just three month ago and had one update to Version 4.0.1. It seems like the latest version of Firefox is a bit cloudy and not gives you clear view of what is new in it because even trust releases web page gets you as far as Version 4.0. Update for deleting the MacDefender malware has been released

Great news for Mac OS users - Apple released a security update to Mac OS 10.6.7 that is able to detect and remove the malware which was currently attacking Mac OS users as a trojan horse masqueraded on Google image files.Apple offers Security Update 2011-003 which is able to trace malware on victim’s computer and send it to quarantine. 73 flaws have been patched by Oracle

Oracle released a Critical Patch Update for its various products. An update patches 73 vulnerabilities of Oracle artifact portfolio. 18 of them are targeted to fix Oracle Sun Products suite. The most serious and dangerous flaw to be fixed is considered to be the GlassFish Enterprise Java Middleware server. This vulnerability was scored as most dangerous of all and evaluated 10.0/10.0. Microsoft announces a big patch day to come

That patches numerous vulnerabilities. 9 of them are considered to deal with serious and critical flaws. Those vulnerabilities mean that cyber criminals are able to compromise system with various malware, trojans and other serious infections.
