How to Remove AntiTroy, AntiTroy Removal Guide

By Bryan on December 8, 2009 | Rogue Antispyware How to Remove AntiTroy, AntiTroy Removal Guide

AntiTroy is not a real system security application. It is a fake program which can only mimic but not actually perform any useful functions. AntiTroy pretends to be a legitimate computer protection tool by performing fabricated security scans and generating false security warning messages. Anti Troy can also hijack the web browser and redirect it to malicious websites, slow down the system performance and prevent real security tools from launching.

AntiTroy is distributed online at a number of corrupt websites that use trojans in order to download and install AntiTroy. Although the name of the program might suggest that it is meant to get rid of trojans, it actually uses them itself to multiply. As the user is unaware of Anti Troy entering the system, they cannot prevent it. The solution in this case is to obtain a real security software that would protect one's computer from AntiTroy and other similar parasites.
