New family of rogues strikes altered OS

We have already talked about the family of rogues that usually are well organized and spread across the web time after time. Recently, cybercriminals released new army of fake anti-spyware applications that should scare people and force them into purchasing “registered” versions of programs.
It seems like rogue security software for different OS worked pretty good for cybercriminals last time , so they created a new rogue army that also targets altered operating systems. Malware usually comes to the system with the help of trojan which enters your computer through its flaws. It gains to trick user into believing their PC is severely compromised, that’s why bogus system imitates computer scans and displays numerous fake warning messages that state about computer infections.
All these security threats are harmless, unless you purchase the program, that’s why you are recommended to ignore fake warning messages. Danger! Facebook private messages and Instant Messengers are infected by worm
According to TrendLabs, infected messages are spreading on Facebook which contain a malicious link pointing to an archive file “May09-Picture18.JPG_www.facebook.com.zip”. Zipped archive itself has a file titled “May09-Picture18.JPG_www.facebook.com” and uses the extension “.com”.
