Survey spammers targeted new Pinterest site which enables users to share their sites with others. Pinterest enables users to create virtual corkboards. Users may Pin content from other web pages onto the virtual corkboards and then share their boards with others.Symantec researcher Nishant Doshi commented on this matter: "Scammers are posting images and links to “free offers” onto Pinterest boards. Trojan fixes library code. How weird is that?

According to BitDefender researchers, a new trojan has been invading users' computers in a tricky way. It masquerades under the venerability in Windows code in order to stay active.Trojan.Dropper.UAJ doesn't act like usual malware but it takes advantage of Window's code flaw and patches the library file, comres.dll, which forces all applications that rely on it to execute the threat.
