New year for Facebook - a Ramnit worm

A dangerous Ramnit worm was designed to steal financial data and to infect various files. It has been around since April of 2010 and now Ramnit started to steal Facebook login credentials.Researchers of security company Seculert has discovered that this dangerous worm had already sent 45,000 credentials to command and control servers. Recently, a new Facebook fraud was detected which clickjacks curious users into a scam. The main moves this hoax do is that it tries to fool users into thinking that they are linked to a site where are full of videos that their friends supposedly liked. If you are looking for cheaper iPhone 4S you may be tricked if not vigilant because holiday season scam is on the web now. Be careful giving your credit card information online. Recently, new phishing scam was found which offers you a cheaper iPhone 4S through eBay. Attack uses eBay domain with its replicated eBay posts for iPhone 4S units. Do not mix legitimate page with the fake one. At rogue page you'll find displayed Euro currency instead of USD which is at the real eBay page. Read more.
iPad scam on Lady Gaga Facebook fan page

Lady Gaga's Facebook page has been hit again. Hackers were able to spread iPad themed scam on the fan page. Because of 45 million Lady Gaga's fans scammers planted rogue Xmas message which claims that famous singer has iPad competition on the back of some advertising deal with Apple. The fake message reads:Lady Gaga's new iPad comes out in 3 days! So for the next 72 hours we will be hosting a massive giveaway to all the Mother Monster fans. Read more.
