Twitter is a target of the scammers again. This time attackers are sending a bogus file with supposedly new password for your Twitter account. The fraudulent message reads: Subject: Reset your Twitter passwordBecause of the measures taken to provide safety to our clients, your password has been changed.You can find your new password in attached document. 'Tabnapping': A New Phishing Technique

At his blog Raskin claims that this new technique leads a user to what appears to be a genuine site but it seems like this is only used to trick people into giving away login information. If the user chooses to leave a web page open and clicks a new tab the bogus tab changes itself into a copy of the real site. Read more.
Phishers Use Italian Bank for Their Malicious Intentions

According to recent news , Italian bank is a new phishers' target. Banca Popolare di Sondrio bank was noticed being an aim of spammed message which gives a misleading link to an Internet bank site Scrigno . Fake message contains an URL which sends user to supposed bank’s Internet banking site.If user chooses to click this rogue link they will be lead to a site that looks very much like the legitimate Internet service’s login page. 4 European Banks are Targeted by New ZBOT

Trend Micro threat researchers announced about new Zbot variant, which targeting banking systems in Italy, England, Germany, and France. TROJ_ZBOT.BYP is a new version of Zbot which was recently detected. Ivan Macalintal, an advanced threats researcher said: “At this point, we do have the data that show that these banks are indeed being currently targeted. Avira recently released report about the most abused TLDs in February 2010. The main difference noticeable from January is that the .ru domain were used 64% often that January. This factor was the reason that .ru domains ended on the 3rd place in this top 15 (see the list below).
