ProtectCop is a deceptive security tool which is designed for Korean computer users and is a clone of ProtectInfo malware. It spreads via trojan which comes to the system through its flaws. The parasite downloads and installs itself without user's knowledge and consent.
Once active it starts to scan your PC and imitates security alerts. It offers to buy "legitimate" version of ProtectCop program. This is a scam which need to be ignored. Malware is not able to provide any actual computer security service. Do not purchase anything it offers because buying it means you'll lose your money and you'll get more viruses onto your computer. Use decent anti-spyware application and delete ProtectCop as soon as possible.
