Bombing and shootings in Norway and Amy‘s Winehouse death are the most exploitable news by scammers nowadays. With the big peoples‘ interest in these tragedies cybercriminals seem to be very excited and try to trick computer users to click on supposedly legitimate links that lead to fake videos that give you malicious applications.
It is not surprising that all that cybercriminals use Facebook as their tool of malicious actions. They took advantage of news and put PC users in danger. One attempt to trick people was noticed as the usual survey scam that involves an age verification page and a fake video page before getting the victim to take part in a survey on Facebook.
Users are lured to complete a survey and after filling it they are supposedly will get to see an „exclusive“ video. However, completion of the survey does not give the permission to see promised videos, but it may steal your money.
Make sure you are clicking on a legitimate link that will not ask you to fill any surveys with asking to pay money for it because it is definitely a fraud that should be avoided. You also need to make sure your computer is protected with security software .
