AntiAID is a computer infection distributed online at various corrupt websites which offer free software or file download. AntiAID is usually downloaded and installed along with the desired program without the user's notice. Once Anti AID enters the system it starts performing fake security scans and displaying false warnings about some non-existent threats. It also suggests purchasing the AntiAID software which should solve computer's security programs. However, as AntiAID is not a real security tool, but just a fake imitation, it does not provide the user with system protection.

AntiAID is the successor of some notorious rogue security tools such as SystemWarrior, SystemVeteran, SystemFighter and many others. Although AntiAID looks a bit different from the rest of the programs, this does not make it more of a real security software. AntiAID is a harmful application and it should be removed immediately upon detection.
