ApcSecure is a rogue anti-spyware application coming from a series of fake security programs including DefendAPc, SysDefenders, APCProtect and a large number of other parasites. These are all basically one and the same software with the only difference being their title. However, ApcSecure is a little bit different as it is a multilingual application. It has been reported that ApcSecure loads fabricated alerts in 4 different languages – English, German, French and Italian. This enables ApcSecure to infect even more computers by attacking non-English speaking users.

ApcSecure tries to convince the PC users that it is a legitimate security tool and that it needs to be purchased in order to provide full service. It performs fabricated system scans and reports various non-existent threats being found, which needs to be removed by the 'full version' of ApcSecure. What's more is that ApcSecure does not come alone. It brings along another malicious application – a rootkit named TDL3. ApcSecure is a malware which needs to be removed as soon as possible.

How to remove APcSecure

To remove APcSecure manually you must block rogue APcSecure related websites, remove malicious processes and registry entries, unregister dlls and delete all malicious APcSecure files from your computer.
