AWM Antivirus is a rogue anti-spyware application which spreads via trojan horse. Trojan comes to the system through its vulnerabilities. Malware is designed to fool users into thinking that it is legitimate antivirus application. As such, AWM Antivirus usually pretends to scan system prevent certain application from executing, display warning messages and connects to deceptive sites.

Malware installs itself automatically without user’s knowledge and consent and forces user to believe their computer is severely compromised.
