Check Disk is a fictitious security tool which spreads via trojan. With the aid of trojan, spam emails and various websites it tends to be affiliated one can easily fall victim to this dubious application. Check Disk is a copy of malicious Quick Defragmenter, System Defragmenter, Smart Defragmenter, HDD Defragmenter, Ultra Defragger and Scan Disk programs.
Once installed it will perform a quick system scan and report fake malware infections on your computer. It may display fake security alerts as well. These fake reports will read as follows:

Do not fall for this blatant scam. This program is fraudulent and malicious. The only purpose it has is to pilfer money from unwary users. Malware may also hijack your browser to misleading websites that sell the program. Information it displays is fabricated and designed only for tricking people into spending their money. Do not purchase it because it is fraud and you money will be stolen. Use decent anti-spyware application and terminate Check Disk indefinitely.
