ControlCnt is a rogue anti-spyware application disguised as a system security tool which is also known under the name of Control Center. The fake program is distributed online at various corrupt websites which either promote ControlCnt as a real security tool or use trojans to secretly download and install the parasite onto your PC. The purpose of Control Center is to infect the system with security threats and make the user pay money for using the rogue application.
Once ControlCnt enters your system it configures itself to launch upon startup taking up most of your system resources and making it very difficult to use. ControlCnt runs lots of fake security scans indicating that your system is infected with numerous parasites that should be removed by purchasing ControlCnt full software. Unfortunately, paying money for ControlCnt does not solve the problem, it only leaves you with less money in your account. What you should do when having ControlCnt is remove it ASAP.
