LivePlayer is not a typical adware. It delivers annoying advertisement in form of pop-ups, but it’s more dangerous than other infections of this kind because it promotes malware. Adware.LivePlayer may install computer infections automatically without user being aware of it.
Live Player installs a fake media player and insists on using it by loading annoying pop-ups. If a victim attempts to run the application, LivePlayer demands downloading missing files, audio/video codecs and other additional things. The stuff offered by Adware.
