Mac Protector is a rogue anti-spyware application which pretends to be a computer protection tool. It gains to pilfer money from unwary users. The parasite is only an imitation of reputable security tool. Malware spreads via trojan horse which comes to user’s computer through its vulnerabilities. Mac Protector downloads and installs itself automatically without user‘s knowledge and consent. The parasite is a copy of Mac Defender and Mac Security programs.
