MedicCop is a rogue anti-spyware program. The parasite is a clone of another Korean malwares, such as AntiCare , MyClean or AV-Clean . With the aid of trojan, spam emails and various websites it tends to be affiliated one can easily fall victim to this dubious application. Malware is downloaded and installed automatically.
Once active it will display false system security warnings and then will prompt you to buy its supposedly registered version. MedicCop redirects your browser to a fake scan pages that market the “licensed” version of the program. The parasite imitates computer scans and then displays rogue security threats stating that user’s machine has been severely compromised. This is a scam and none of information should be trusted.
Malware neither has an ability to detect nor remove computer threats therefore they don’t even exist. You have to avoid fake warning messages but use an effective anti-spyware program and remove malicious MedicCop application. Make sure you delete it and all its affiliated components.
