Mostofate cookie is associated with the same named adware and toolbar. While the tracking cookie itself is not privacy or security risk, the information it stores is used by malware to deliver advertisements, to lead people to fraudulent websites and to trick victims into downloading malware.
Mostofate collects various information including web browsing history and passwords. It’s important to delete malware which installs the tracking cookie; otherwise the cookie may reappear.
