OneStep Search toolbar may be installed manually, but it is secretly bundled with downloads from fraudulent web sources more often. It usually comes as an extra tool of free screensavers, icons, mouse cursors and similar freeware.
One Step Search forces victims to use its online search engine by redirecting each and every web address to onestepsearch.net. It may look convenient and useful since you notice you can’t access other websites. Both onestepsearch.net and the search results it displays shouldn’t be trusted.
