The program pretends to be a security tool in order to trick the user into purchasing it. However, money payed for Security Guard is wasted money, as the customer does not receive any kind of security software and it is not refundable. What they do receive is more computer parasites.
If you want to avoid Security Guard, you should protect yourself. Surfing the web can be pretty dangerous, especially through websites of questionable reputation.
