Remove SoftSafeness, SoftSafeness Removal Guide

By Bryan on September 15, 2009 | Rogue Antispyware, Personal Antivirus, PersonalAntivirus Remove SoftSafeness, SoftSafeness Removal Guide

SoftSafeness is a rogue security application which serves the purpose of tricking the user into purchasing the non-existent Soft Safeness software. Soft Safeness is the latest addition to the large number of malicious programs coming from the same creators, which include SafetyKeeper, SaveKeeper, QuickHealCleaner, SystemCop, BlockDefence, TrustNinja, SaveDefense, SaveSoldier, SaveKeep, WiniShield, WiniFighter and WinBlueSoft.

Like all of the fake security tools mentioned above, SoftSafeness is distributed through the corrupt websites like softsafeness.com which advertise the program and might even use trojans to download and install the application without the user's notice once the website has been visited. Soft Safeness will perform fake system scans and issue misleading warning messages and pop-up ads as it boards the computer. It might also hijack the internet browser and prevent legitimate security programs from launching. It is strongly advised to remove SoftSafeness upon detection.
