If in search for a security application for your PC you've come across VirusCure, you need to know one and very important detail about this program – it's a hoax. VirusCure is nothing but a fake imitation of a security program made to take advantage of inexperienced internet users and sell them the nonexistent security software.

In most cases VirusCure appears on one's PC without the user's permission and launches automatic system scans. It also displays Windows-like security alerts which should convince the user that their computer has been seriously infected and needs to be fixed by the VirusCure software.
