A new and free application for iPhone, iPod devices and iPod Touch was released by Sophos. This Sophos Security Threat Monitor comprehends the latest security news and information about viruses, worms, spyware and malware. It constantly searches for new malwares and dangerous viruses.

A senior technology consultant at Sophos, Graham Cluley stated that this application offers multiple views because information is updated hourly. Cluley said that the threat accentuate is “a dynamic list of the latest top-10 threats analyzed by the experts in SophosLabs, providing detailed information on their prevalence and a helpful link to further details on the Sophos Web site.“
