„Time on Tweeter“ scam

On Tuesday new scam was released and spread widely on Twitter site. This “Time on Tweeter” scam claims to people how they are wasting their precious time on this site.
A threat appears as an update from already affected users by this scam. It invites clicking on a link provided at the survey which leads users to be infected with malware called „Time on Tweeter“.
Infected application will tweet a message on Twitter feed stating they waste time on this site as spend too much time on it. However, this time-wasting survey earns money for scammers.
This is pretty new moves by scammers to trick people on Twitter because people’ are not surprised when they are warned about Facebook scams, however, this is new on the micro blogging platform. Affected users are asked to call off their access to Twitter account immediately
