The next step users should consider is the change of their passwords. It is recommended to do it after each 60 days. D. Marcus said: „I am not intimidated to do online banking because I take precautions and I also modify my behavior as necessary. As long as you understand the threat and risk, you should be OK.“

He also warns about the capability of Zeus trojan to bypass SMS text message authentication which is used by some European banks. D. Marcus constantly repeats that user needs to be careful with e-mail text as well. All these security steps have to be taken in protecting your personal data and reducing the possibility of identity theft.
