Twitter Phishing Attack
By Jason on February 23, 2010 | Phishing, lol is this you, bzpharma, twitter phishing
It is our concern to inform you that a new Twitter phishing attack is on its board and attempting to obtain Twitter logins via Direct Messages. If you see a message reading “lol, is this you”, and linking to a site called “bzpharma,” do not click it. It is a fraud.
Those who click on that link give scammers a straight way to use their account. They are able to take over it. This can also affect even your friends, because attackers use to spam the same Direct Message to all your contacts.
It is not dangerous to your account till you start to use the link. In other words, if you click on the link, you have to change your Twitter password immediately.
